The most effective and the recommended anti-acne treatment is the 90-minute Premium version, due to its complexity. A Standard version of 60 minutes can be done after consulting with our specialists in this field, in the case of a personalized maintenance session, depending on the needs of each face skin. The complexity of the treatment does NOT allow, in this case, to perform an Express version.

PROCEDURE:
The first step is a thorough cleansing of the skin, using cotton swabs, cosmetic towels or special sponges, but in this case, it is a “gentle cleansing”, specific to problematic face skin.
We use an innovative procedure at Derma Studio Pipera: scab reducing and phototherapy, with LED mask (photons 10). Phototherapy accelerates the skin’s metabolism and promotes circulation, dilutes freckles and removes dark melanin stains. It increases skin elasticity, and repairs wrinkles. It removes rough skin and effectively detoxifies the skin, while balancing fat levels.
This procedure activates the photoreceptors in the skin cells, so that the skin’s elastin will be able to revitalize, to restore and to beautify the skin. TRATMANT PLAN & FREQUENCY OF TREATMENTS
Good results appear after each session, but if you want to cure your acne face skin it is important to follow an extensive program. There are required frequent session, twice a month, three times a month, and then once a month for maintenance, for a long-lasting treatment.
Acne cannot be treated in a single session or even in two or three sessions.
For example, if you are experiencing a more complicated acne, with pustules, it is recommended that the first sessions are conducted regularly every two weeks, until the inflammation is reduced. In the first week after extraction, the skin heals, but in the second week, it will start to make other pimples. It is important to extract these acne pimples while they are still smaller and they did not have the strength to return in force. A postponement of the treatment at this time will cause us to lose the advantage obtained at the previous session.
The progress is usually visible quickly in the case of the face skin with milder acne, and we can recommend sessions every three weeks.
Each person’s face skin will respond to the treatment in a unique way, so the expectations should be realistic.
In some cases, the pimples decrease significantly after a few sessions and we can already enter the “maintenance period” after only two or three months, which means that, at that point, it is recommended to switch from twice a month meetings to one session per month.
In other cases, twice a month treatment is required for a longer period.
SPECIAL RECOMMENDATIONS
- Home extraction of the pimples delays or complicates the evolution for the better. Don’t take out the pimples yourself, no matter how annoying they are! ATTENTION! Extractions made at home, in an unprofessional manner and without conditions for proper sterilization of utensils, will leave traces much stronger than the extractions done at the beauty center. Moreover, you risk that the signs of traces will turn into spots. Obviously, this delays the healing of the skin.
- If you are taking treatments to combat and prevent the acne, scars or pigment spots, it is useful to follow a proper treatment at home too, in order to enhance and to prolong the results of cure sessions performed at the salon. We will recommend you the most innovative products in the field and we will help you to procure and apply them correctly.

Anti-acne treatments have no major contraindications in general. However, you should avoid them or seek medical approval in case of: surgery performed recently or before surgery, severe heart disease, severe eye disease, epilepsy, tumors, cancer, fever, open wounds, dental treatments recently performed, pregnancy.
