Microneedling is recommended for people who have fine or deep wrinkles, post-acne spots, dilated pores, pigment spots caused by the sun or age (melasma), stretch marks, scars.
There are multiple beneficial effects of these innovative cosmetic techniques. Microneedling helps to fade wrinkles and fine lines of expression, it deeply moisturizes the skin, it has a lifting and tonic effect on the skin.
The microneedling device is equipped with sterile needles, which perform up to 1,000 controlled micro-punctures per second, with a strong effect of restoring collagen and elastin fibers. Depending on the specific needs of each person, the penetration level is adjusted from 0.5 mm to 2.5 mm.
You will feel comfortable, you have no reason to worry! The unpleasant sensation is reduced to a minimum by the microinjector’s vibration, and the microneedling treatment is safe and effective.
The needles penetrate easily into the targeted areas and reduce the risk of bleeding. So, the treatment is also indicated for more sensitive areas, such as the eye contour, nose or lips.
Dermapen is a cosmetic device consisting of two parts: an electric handpiece, connected to an energy source, and a disposable device including twelve microneedles arranged in a circle. When the device is connected to the power source, these needles oscillate very quickly and penetrate the skin.
The mini-needles create microchannels through which nutrients applied on the skin penetrate constantly and deeply. This small medical device produces the same effects as fractional lasers, but without the risk of hyper or hypopigmentation due to the fact that it does not involve thermal reactions (heat).
A minimum of the 60-minute Standard version is required for microneedling treatment. You can add extra-optional services, in order to create a Premium, personalized treatment!

PROCEDURE:
We will apply a soothing cream with an anesthetic effect on the targeted area. The cream will act for 15-20 minutes, then it will be removed with a disinfectant solution.
The device is turned on after the application of the active substance specific to the treated area, and the active substances from the special serums will penetrate into the dermis.
Together with our cosmetics experts, you will choose the depth of penetration of the needles for each targeted area, depending on the needs of your skin and your sensitivity. Relax! You can ask the therapist to change the frequency at any time, if you feel any discomfort.
A mask is applied at the end of the treatment, in order to obtain both the optimal penetration of the active ingredients, and to calm and relax the skin.
What side effects may occur after the procedure?
Dermapen is safe for any skin type and involves minimal discomfort, compared to other cosmetic treatments.
The side effects that can occur are insignificant for the majority of people. It is possible to have some small transient red spots and a feeling of dryness on the treated area.
Some clients may experience redness of the entire treated area, which usually disappears after an hour.
It is not recommended to wash and apply makeup in the next 24 hours after the treatment. The use of retinoid-based foundations is contraindicated, also, for 3 days after the procedure. It is recommended, instead, to use a cream with a strong moisturizing effect and a lotion with a high sun protection factor, especially if you are going to expose yourself to the sun.

Treatment sessions frequency
Microneedling treatment can be performed for both curative and preventive purposes. Thus, for the treatment of scars and rashes, at least 8 sessions are required, for pigment spots – 6 sessions, and for normal skin, without visible defects – at least 3 sessions.
Warnings:
The microneedling procedure is not recommended for pregnant women, people who tend to have keloid scars, those who have infections or herpes in the area to be treated and those who have blood clotting disorders or who are being treated with anticoagulants.
This procedure is not recommended, also, for people who have had anti-acne retinoid treatment in the past 3 months.
Microneedling treatment do not have major contraindications most of the time. However, it is recommended to avoid it or to seek medical approval in case of: surgery performed recently or before surgery, severe heart disease, severe eye disease, epilepsy, tumors, cancer, fever, open wounds, dental treatments recently performed, pregnancy.
